Environment

A number of environmental variables may be adjusted:

1.  The simulation may be simplified by

         a.  closing the sales office in Area 4

         b.  limiting product quality levels to one level

         c.  limiting product feature levels to one level

2.  A company in the simulation may be shut down.  This is useful if a team drops the class or leaves the competition for some other reason.  The other teams in the competition are not affected other than having an opportunity to compete for additional customers.

3.  The default assignment of home areas may be changed for each company.  I have run a competition with all of the companies having the same home area.

4.  The simulation reports default to be printed in English.  However they may be printed in Portuguese or Spanish.  This can be set by company.  Thus you may have one team receiving reports in English, a second in Portuguese and a third in Spanish or any combination.
